New Business:
Discussion held on trying to help clubs deal with low entries at Derby and All-Age Qualifier Trials. As of April 17, 2010 to hold a Derby or All-Age Qualifier there has to be at least 3 hounds to hold a class, if owner doesn’t want to run in a combined class. There has to be five hounds present in the class to receive the full points. For example, if only 4 dogs in class then points will be awarded 4 for first, 3 for second, 2 for third, and 1 for fourth. If only 3 dogs in a class 3 for first, 2 for second, and 1 for third.
Motion was made by Don Hoog and seconded by Brian Bush to accept discussion.
Delegates voted unanimously to pass.
Discussion was held on the selection of the MWBGA Championship Runoff Committee:
Jeff Martin Field Trial Secretary
Donald Willis (Peanut) Field Trial Chairman
Field Trial Committee:
Don Hoog, Mark Brown, Tony Akers, Jeff Leonard, Denny Dugan, Jason Gibson, Ron Wagner, Tom Floyd, and Brian Garmatter.
Motion was made by Brian Garmatter and seconded
by Brian Bush to accept discussion. Delegates voted unanimously to accept.
Please do not take this the wrong way!
If clubs are interested in holding the Association Meeting, club needs to try to be at prior meeting. So that your club has representation in saying you are willing to hold Association Meeting or not.
Next Association Meeting will be held at Wurtland Beagle Club on October 9, 2010 after completion of 15” males that day.
Motion made by Jeff Leonard and seconded by Mark Brown to adjourn.
To help keep up with the points of hounds, club Secretaries need to ask the placing folks what Mid-west Club they are a member of, then write it on the paperwork that is sent to Midwest Secretary. This needs to be done for License, Derby, and All-Age Trials.
